What do you love about design?
There’s no right or wrong answer. Design takes risks.
What inspired you to start Shillington?
When I was running a graphic design studio, I interviewed a lot of fresh graduates who had wonderful attitudes, were driven and had the desire to learn—but they didn’t have the skills the industry requires. So we decided to create a course that was relevant to real-world needs and prepared graduates to land a job.
What do you love most about Shillington?
I love meeting so many incredible people from different backgrounds and helping them kickstart creative careers. I love our Graduate Exhibitions—seeing the students’ joy at their hard-earned achievements, the friendships made, and the end result, all those amazing portfolios of work.
I also love working with and learning from our talented and passionate teachers. I’m a lucky man to have such a wonderful job and have so many inspiring people around me every day.
If you were a typeface what would you be?
