Part-time Graphic Design Teacher

Mags is a printmaker and graphic designer with over 12 years of experience in the creative industry. She has worked for creative and marketing agencies, as well as in retail. Nowadays, she combines her time working on several editorial and data-driven design projects with managing her own business, Good Day. She started her side business in 2017, and it has grown from a low-key side hustle into a design and print studio. The studio specialises in creating T-shirts, totes, and stationery products with a cozy country and western focus.

Country music, y’all! Because who doesn’t solve their problems by asking themselves, ‘What would Dolly do?’ For me, it's a massive source of inspiration that just keeps on giving. Some artists I recommend (besides Dolly, of course) are Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, and Old Dominion.

Vintage Markets & Second-Hand Shops. I love a good market or a great second-hand shop. I can spend hours roaming around, discovering hidden patterns on nice fabrics, or finding old books with interesting layouts or covers! There are so many in London, like the great Peckham Salvage Yard, but there are also fantastic spots outside of London.
