Terms And Conditions.
Updated: June 2026.
Shillington United Kingdom terms and conditions will apply to all enrolments for our online courses.
Please note that enrolling for one of our online courses creates a contract with Shillington Online Education Limited company number 15021150, registered in England and Wales. The law of the United Kingdom will, therefore, have jurisdiction over all contractual matters as they relate to our online courses.
Graphic Design Course
Course fees
All deposits must be paid via our website, which uses Stripe to process payments. Thereafter payment may be paid in full or by instalments by bank transfer or card via the monthly link that will be emailed to the Student each month. Upon enrolment, Shillington’s Finance Team can clarify any payment questions the Student may have.
- The Student will receive an email welcome letter from the Shillington UK Finance Team before the commencement of the course confirming the exact amounts and dates of the payments the Student will be required to make.
- Course fees must be paid in accordance with the payment plan selected for the course applied. Students will be sent an updated statement of account every time a payment is received.
- Late monthly payments by the Student will result in a temporary loss of access to Shillington’s learning environments.
- Where extra bank charges to Shillington are incurred by the Student’s chosen mode of payment, these shall be the liability of the Student to pay.
- Students will not receive access to Shillington’s learning platforms (Slack, Canvas, etc.) until their first course fee instalment has been received by Shillington.
Early Bird Payment Deadlines
1. The scheme
Shillington's early bird pricing rewards students who enrol earlier with a lower course fee. The fee you pay is set by the date your enrolment and deposit are received, not the date you first enquired. There are four pricing tiers:
- Super Early Bird: £5,950 GBP
- Early Bird: £6,450
- Close Call: £6,950
- Full Fee: £7,450
2. How your tier is decided
Your tier is determined by the date Shillington receives both your enrolment and your deposit, measured against your course start date:
- Super Early Bird applies to enrolments received on or before 68 days prior to the course start date.
- Early Bird applies to enrolments received between 67 and 37 days prior to the start date.
- Close Call applies to enrolments received between 36 and 15 days prior to the start date.
- Full Fee applies to enrolments received within the final 14 days before the start date.
Tiers are strictly sequential, with no gaps or overlaps. A price cannot be applied retrospectively, and a tier closes at 23:59 (UK time) on its deadline date. The exact dates for each intake are listed in the schedule below.
3. Securing your place
A deposit of £1,000 secures your place at the tier in effect on the date it's received. Your deposit forms part of your total course fee and is not an additional charge. Deposits are subject to our Refund Policy.
4. Paying your balance
After your deposit, your remaining balance can be paid in one of two ways:
- In full, in a single payment and save 5%, or
- By interest-free instalments: 3 monthly payments for full-time courses, or 10 monthly payments for part-time courses.
The Full Fee tier is the exception. As these enrolments fall within the final 14 days before the course begins, the full balance or first instalment must be paid in full before the first class.
5. When your balance or first payment is due
Whether you pay in full or by instalments, your full balance or your first instalment is due as follows, measured against your course start date:
- Super Early Bird: 62 days before the course start date
- Early Bird: 31 days before the course start date
- Close Call: 8 days before the course start date
- Full Fee: Pay in full or 1st instalment, on enrolment, before the first class
6. Instalment terms
Where instalments are chosen, the first payment is due on the date set out in clause 5. Each subsequent instalment is then due on the same calendar date in each following month until the balance is cleared. Instalment plans are interest-free. Shillington will send a reminder a few days before each payment is due, and a statement once each payment is received, so your balance is always clear.
7. Late or missed payments
Payments must be made by their due date. Late or missed payments may result in temporary suspension of access to Shillington's learning platforms until the account is brought up to date. If you anticipate any difficulty meeting a payment, please contact our finance team as early as possible so we can help.
8. General
Shillington reserves the right to amend or withdraw the early bird scheme for future intakes, though any change will not affect a place already secured by deposit. These terms should be read alongside our Refund Policy and main Terms & Conditions on this page.

Cancellation by Shillington
Shillington reserves the right to cancel courses for whatever reason before the date a course is due to commence. In these circumstances, a full refund of all monies paid in respect of fees for the course will be refunded.
- Shillington cannot be held liable for any consequential loss, damage or compensation arising from the cancellation.
- Any refunds of international payments attract additional administration costs and exchange rate fluctuations, for which Shillington accepts no liability.
- Any financial losses suffered by a Student as a result of the cancellation by Shillington of a course shall be borne by the Student. Shillington accepts no liability for consequential losses.
- Shillington reserves the right to refuse or withdraw an application, cancel an accepted place on the course and terminate the Student’s enrolment agreement and the Student’s enrolment, for any of the following reasons: a) If the Student has not paid any course fees by the date they are due. b) If Shillington believes that the Student’s standard of English is not sufficient to maintain a full understanding of the course contents. c) If the Student’s attendance falls below 95% of classes in any one month period without pre-authorisation from Shillington. d) If Shillington believes that the Student’s learning environment, computer literacy and/or internet connection is insufficient. e) If the Student is found to have committed a serious breach, or repeated breaches, of Shillington Online Terms & Conditions or Student Code of Conduct.

Attendance and punctuality

- Part-time 9 month Tuesday/Wednesday online students must not miss any more than 9 classes.
- Part-time 9 month Sunday online students must not miss any more than 4 classes.

- Being late to class is not acceptable.
- Students who login within 15 minutes after class has started will be recorded as missing half a class.
- Students who login any later than 15 minutes after class has started will be recorded as missing a full class.
- This rule is also enforced after break times, and it is due to the amount of content delivered.
- It is the Student’s responsibility to catch up on any missed work by the following class, or by any other deadline set by the teacher.
- Excessive absences can lead to academic termination. Students who are in jeopardy of failing the course due to poor attendance will receive a written warning email from the Experience Team.

- The Student must submit assignments by the deadlines set during class hours.

- The Student must complete a minimum of 90% of asynchronous work and meet the deadlines set by the teacher. Deadline extensions may be granted at the teacher’s discretion.
- If timely asynchronous submissions fall below 90%, the Student may not be awarded a certificate, featured in the Graduate Showcase, or permitted to attend graduation events.

- Once a course has commenced, a transfer will only be permitted under extenuating circumstances and at the absolute discretion of Shillington. Transfers will only be permitted if availability remains one week before the agreed reintegration date.
- If a course transfer is permitted, the Student will remain on their original payment plan as agreed.
- Shillington offers a one-year transfer window from the date of course withdrawal. If this timeframe has passed, the Student will need to re-enrol as a new student and pay full course fees. Exceptions may be granted in extenuating circumstances.
Temporary transfers:
- The Student may request one temporary course transfer.
