Ross Higginson

Studio Manager

Ross Higginson is a designer, musician and Shillington graduate. Since completing the course a few years ago, he has worked across branding and packaging, alongside experience in digital marketing and customer relationship management. Now a Studio Manager at Shillington, Ross loves helping people take steps towards a creative career. Having made that move himself, he enjoys helping others recognise their creative strengths, trust their ideas and build a future in design that feels like their own. Ross is based in Liverpool, UK.

I love how The Creative Act encourages you to approach creativity with a childlike curiosity: to play, experiment and stay open to where an idea might lead. It’s a lovely reminder to loosen up, trust your instincts and enjoy the process of making.

COFFI is my favourite coffee shop in Liverpool. It’s a small independent place, the staff have such good energy, and I always end up looking at all the coffee packaging. I love Process from Belfast—their coffee comes in packaging inspired by old VHS tapes.
