Jaimee-Lee Field
Jaimee-Lee Field is a Sydney-based multidisciplinary graphic designer with a big love for beautifully tactile packaging, clever branding and tacos with hot sauce.
A Shillington graduate, Jaimee started her career at DDB Sydney working on global brands before specialising in boutique packaging and branding at Harcus Design. In her free time, you can find Jaimee making lino etchings, thinking about printing finishes and learning to play the drums.
What do you love about design?
Problem solving and the craft. There’s nothing more satisfying than creating something that is not only functional, but v.nice to look at.
Why do you teach?
To inspire and be inspired! I’m a former Shillo student that was given all the knowledge, tools and inspiration I needed to change my career and chase my design dreams! I’d love to inspire and encourage others so they can do the same.
Tell us about your design career outside of Shillington.
I started as an annoying advertising account manager that had too many opinions on what the creative should look like. After becoming a bona fide Shillington graduate, I cut my design teeth in advertising and PR agencies before finding my true calling in packaging design (Harcus Design).
What or who are you loving right now?
Packaging from Stranger and Stranger and local branding from Tork Design.

Heldane Display on good day/Helvetica on a bad day
