I love the vast range of possibilities a creative project presents. The process of finding your voice as a creative and experimentation is an exciting journey.

She enjoys working on photo-based projects and is a member of two photography collectives. What do you love about design?
I love that you can create something that didn’t exist before! There is design inspiration all around. I am drawn to the unique signage, street art and architecture across all the different cities I visit.
What or who are you loving right now?
Blinkist! It’s a brilliant app that lets you read or listen to the key points of a book within 15 minutes. Their massive library has a great variety of books across many genres.
If you were a typeface, what would you be?
Mostra Nuova. I love this typeface because it’s based on the lettering of Italian Art Deco posters of the 1930’s.
What are your favourite blogs and podcasts?
Featureshoot, LensCulture, The Phoblographer and The Observers are great photo blogs. The Great Discontent has great interviews with creatives. I also enjoy the podcasts, Tim Ferriss, Hurry Slowly and The Moth.
What keeps you busy outside of Shillington?
Photography projects, going to art shows and whipping up new recipes while experimenting in the kitchen.
