Learn from designers with industry expertise.
One of the most satisfying things about working at Shillington is seeing all the concepts, layouts and ideas that our students come up with.

Alexandra Lunn
Alexandra Lunn works with brand strategists to develop stand out brand identities. They host in depth conversations with their clients to understand their business’s goals and objectives and then carry out thorough research to arrive at good design solutions, which includes a visual identity that reflects their core values.
What do you love about design?
People often come to us with the idea that they don’t know how to navigate the digital space and stand out online. I enjoy collaborating with a team of type designers, copywriters and our clients across a wide range of industries, developing bold and vibrant identities and offering guidance when it comes to strong, consistent visual identities.
Why do you teach?
I’d do anything for money! No, really, I love how passing on what I have learnt so far helps others develop and grow.
I enjoy working with George and Marssaié on Wednesday and Thursday evenings because of the collaborative and positive environment we have created and also because of they way we bounce off each other.
I like listening to our students’ ideas and viewpoints on why they came to a design solution (and challenging their ideas—really I’m just mean and nasty). One of the most satisfying things about working at Shillington is seeing all the concepts, layouts and ideas that our students come up with.
I’ve mentored for over three years—I enjoy guiding people. My mantra when teaching is that there are no stupid questions.
Tell us about your design career outside of Shillington.
We love helping brands to stand out. We enjoy telling their stories in ways in which they hadn’t thought of. We help them think differently about their business and consider different design solutions, too.
I wear lots of different hats. One day it is accounting and the next creative. I meet new potential clients and manage every project. I guide a team of strategists, type designers, copywriters and creatives and offer them with creative support when and where necessary. More on our work can be found here.
