Natalia Zuluaga is originally from Colombia, where she studied graphic design and worked at various agencies before moving to London in 2012 to study a Masters. After finishing her MA in Design and Branding Strategy, she started leading a design team at a top strategic communications agency in London where she has been focusing on managing the team and consulting in branding, digital design and content production for the past six years. She loves mentoring and empowering designers, and finds teaching the most inspiring professional path someone can take.

Tell us about your design career outside of Shillington.
After working for a few years as a graphic designer in Colombia, I moved to London in 2012 to specialise in design strategy and branding.
Since then, I have been scaling and leading a design and video production team at a top PR agency in London, delivering projects that cover branding, editorial, digital and social media content.
What or who are you loving right now?
For literature inspiration, Margaret Atwood’s new book, The Testament. For my design inspiration, Mindsparkle magazine.
If you were a typeface, what would you be?
Futura—modern and casual.
