Keeping our community on track during Covid-19

Shillington responds to COVID-19

A huge thank you for being part of the Shillington community and for your interest in studying at Shillington. We want to let you know that the health and wellbeing of our community is our top priority.

In light of the Covid-19 developments, Shillington has made changes to how we run our courses across all our six campuses globally to enable our students to get the best possible educational experience.

We have taken this action to keep our community safe and to continue to deliver our highest quality teaching to our students.

Please see below for the latest information for upcoming courses at all our campuses (subject to change).

We will be welcoming students to campus in London for our Full-Time and Part-Time Courses starting 20 September 2021. Extra safety and social distancing measures will be in place to comply with UK Government COVID-19 requirements.

Enrolments for the September in person courses are open now! We recommend applying sooner rather than later to guarantee your spot.

If circumstances change, enrolled students will agree to transition to online learning. Our team is fully prepared to manage this clearly and confidently, ensuring the best learning environment and outcome for all students.

If you have any other questions about Shillington’s response to Covid-19 in London, please email us directly at uk@shillingtoneducation.com.

We will be welcoming students to campus in Manchester for our Full-Time and Part-Time Courses starting 20 September 2021. Extra safety and social distancing measures will be in place to comply with UK Government COVID-19 requirements.

Shillington is continuing to assess the current situation regarding COVID-19  and we have hope that we can safety return to in-person in September. This is dependent on numerous factors including; travel restrictions, changing government guidelines, lockdowns and availability of vaccines.

If the above factors allow for in-person teaching the school has safety requirements in place to make the classroom environment as safe as possible for staff and students. These requirements apply to all September 2021 courses and all current students transitioning to in-person study:

  • Given the wide availability of the COVID-19 Vaccine in the United States, all students studying on campus in New York must be fully vaccinated and provide valid proof of vaccination before the first day of class. Please note each vaccine requires different periods of time after your second dose to be effective. Factor this into your timeline.
  • All students must take a COVID test within 48 hours of the first day of class and provide proof of a negative result before arriving on campus.
  • Domestic Travel: If you are traveling from out-of-state to study at the New York campus, it is your responsibility to review any travel restrictions and honor the travel protocols. If you do travel, follow all CDC recommendations before, during, and after domestic travel.
  • International Travel: If you are traveling internationally to study at the New York campus, it is your responsibility to review the travel restrictions and honor the international travel protocols.
