All Shillington New York classes have returned to in-person as of September 2021. Shillington is continuing to assess the current situation regarding COVID-19 and our ability to continue to be in-person is dependent upon numerous factors including; travel restrictions, changing government guidelines, lockdowns and availability of vaccines.

As long as the above factors allow for in-person teaching the school has safety requirements in place to make the classroom environment as safe as possible for staff and students. These requirements apply to all 2022 courses.

Whilst on campus, we require students to follow our COVID safety precautions:

  • All students studying on campus in New York must be fully vaccinated and provide valid proof of vaccination before the first day of class. Factor this into your timeline. Please note each vaccine requires different periods of time after your second dose to be effective.
  • Whilst on campus, we require all students to wear a face covering whether fully vaccinated or not.
  • Domestic Travel: If you are traveling from out-of-state to study at the New York campus, it is your responsibility to review any travel restrictions and honor the travel protocols. If you do travel, follow all CDC recommendations before, during, and after domestic travel.
  • International Travel: If you are traveling internationally to study at the New York campus, it is your responsibility to review the travel restrictions and honor the international travel protocols.

If you have any other questions about Shillington’s COVID-19 policy in the US, please email us directly at us@shillingtoneducation.com.
