Shillington responds to COVID-19
A huge thank you to our Shillington community and for your interest in studying with us. The health and wellbeing of our community is our top priority.
Please see below for our latest policy information for upcoming courses at all our campuses. Subject to change.
For applicants seeking further information about Study Abroad opportunities during COVID-19, Shillington firmly advises that it is your responsibility to research and confirm any travel-related restrictions that may affect you.

We have Covid-19 safety precautions on campus:
- Wearing a mask is optional.
- Additional hand sanitising stations around campus.
- Increased ventilation and Hepa air filters on campus.
- Expanded distance between student workspaces.
- Increased cleaning and disinfecting of all classrooms and communal spaces.
If circumstances change, enrolled students will agree to transition to partial or complete online learning. Our team is fully prepared to manage this clearly and confidently, ensuring the best learning environment and outcome for all students.

- All students studying on campus in New York must be fully vaccinated and provide valid proof of vaccination before the first day of class. Factor this into your timeline. Please note each vaccine requires different periods of time after your second dose to be effective.
- Whilst on campus, wearing a mask is optional.
- Shillington encourages all students to receive a booster vaccine.
If circumstances change, enrolled students will agree to transition to partial or complete online learning. Our team is fully prepared to manage this clearly and confidently, ensuring the best learning environment and outcome for all students.

We will be welcoming students to campus in Sydney for our Full-Time and Part-Time Courses beginning in 2022.
Whilst on campus, we require students to follow our COVID safety precautions:
- Provide vaccination status prior to your start date. Shillington will be checking proof of vaccination upon arrival.
- Self-isolate and get a COVID-19 test immediately if you test positive for COVID-19 or have or develop the mildest of symptoms while at Shillington. Follow all government directives regarding isolation in NSW.
- If you are isolating, or a close or casual contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please notify your Teachers and Experience Manager immediately.
- Check-in and out to campus via the Service NSW QR code on entry to the classroom.
- Vaccination or not, we recommend you wear a mask indoors and outdoors (unless you have an exemption) as per NSW Health guidelines.
- Maintain physical distancing. Keep 1.5m away from others. Avoid physical greetings. Wash your hands or use a hand sanitiser regularly. Practise cough etiquette. Please cough or sneeze into your elbow or tissue.
Medical exemptions:
- If you have been given a medical exemption for the COVID-19 vaccine, you must send your relevant paperwork to au@shillingtoneducation.com 2 weeks prior to your first day of class.
Enrolments for the September 2022 full-time and part-time courses are open now! We recommend applying sooner rather than later to guarantee your spot.
