We asked our talented graduate network Shillumni to use another language to design a type lock-up using the statement ‘Design is a Universal Language’. They delivered, and then some! We received a multitude of outstanding creative responses, illustrating how diverse and international our graduate base is.
But, despite how tricky it was we had to crown one winner….Manchester Graduate Anastasiia Vinnichenko!
Her interpretation of the brief was well considered and beautifully executed. Inspired by the old Russian type of Cyrillic ornate lettering ‘Vyaz’ her lock-up was a fantastic piece of typography and an apt representation of design being a universal language.
Huge thanks to everyone who entered, we loved looking through your designs!
