Are you a Shillington graduate who loves digital design, travel and giving back? Take your talents on a Design Safari! We are proud to partner with Seesaw and offer a paid work and travel opportunity in support of The School of St. Jude in Arusha, Tanzania.
Shillington and Seesaw are both strong supporters of St Jude’s, a school providing high-quality education to more than 1800 of the brightest and poorest students in Tanzania. Selected from families living on less than $2 a day, these students receive an education that consistently ranks in the top 10% nationally, and are given everything they need to escape intergenerational poverty. Watch founder Gemma Sisia on Australian Story to learn more.
Seesaw commits to a new pro-bono client each year and is proud to be working with St. Jude’s on a sophisticated rebrand. “We have never felt so humbled or so proud to be involved with an organisation that truly changes lives,” said Anita Ryley, Partner and Creative Director. Andrew Shillington, CEO of Shillington, is also an enthusiastic St. Jude’s sponsor and has always dreamed of connecting his design graduates to the school’s important work.
Graduates—that’s where you come in! We’re offering a paid opportunity to intern at a top Melbourne studio and then continue the important work in Tanzania. It’s a chance to use your creative skills to change lives.

Maintaining studio culture is highly important so a great sense of humour and ability to work within a close knit team is integral. Oh and you must like dogs.
Spend a year designing and exploring in East Africa! Join 15 other international employees on campus to watch students arrive on day one to pick up uniforms, all the way to the end-of-year graduation celebration.
