The National Breast Cancer Foundation is looking for a Graphic Designer to support our existing in-house team.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Our mission is simple: stop deaths from breast cancer. How? By identifying, funding and championing world-class research – research that will help us detect tumours earlier, improve treatment outcomes and ultimately – save lives.

In this role, you will be working on digital graphics for our new website. You should have a sharp eye for detail, ability to work under instruction and follow direction. Ideal for someone who has recently graduated and / or has limited industry experience but keen design sensibilities and a willingness to learn on the job. Designing digital assets for websites, mainly hero banners for pre-designed templates
Collaborate with team members
Create and update materials in line with company style guides (Brand bible provided)
Other ad-hoc design requests as required

– Work from our Barrack Street offices in Sydney
– Start 18 September 2019
– Provide support for a minimum of 2 weeks (or 10 days over a 3-4-week period)
– Be available 9.00am – 5.00pm

This is an unpaid role but you will be provided with lunch and travel costs to and from the office will be covered

Skill/Attributes Required

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop + (InDesign, Illustrator)
Experience designing graphics for web
Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
A keen eye for detail
Time management and multitasking abilities
