Through 21 September 2019
Head down to The Modernist’s new(ish) gallery space and shop and check out himHallow’s exhibition of Brutalist-inspired illustrations.
A series of illustrated patterns created by himHallows in response to the increasing demand on the infrastructure that underpins our cities. This new body of work is presented as full colour, large format prints.
Subjects range from shipping containers to sub station pylons to air conditioning units; the patterns make use of scale to create images that appear logical in construction but abstract in their repetition.
The Modernist, 58 Port Street, Manchester, M1 2EQ. Through 21 September 2019.
